Markus Bradley, a semi-pro hockey player and key contributor in the early days, developed a technique for accessing the sheeps’ feet for trimming that he called “clean and jerk;” aside from a welt on his forehead created by a horned Dorset ewe, he came out unscathed. Markus’s wife Laura and his three children have also been known to help move the sheep from pasture to pasture with lots of whooping and hollering. |
